In June 2008, Jim Spiros was privileged to be elected to serve on the Board of Managers for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association for the years 2008-2009.
Jim Spiros was also featured on the WICD news and interviewed in connection with a recent case wherein a Vermilion County jury returned a verdict of $9.8 million.

Our referring attorneys know that we achieve consistent, outstanding results, and that we can be trusted to maintain the highest levels of integrity at every stage of representation.
Due to our long history of accepting attorney referral cases, it is our continued desire to make the referral experience one which is beneficial for all involved. When considering a referral, we enter into it with both the referring attorney and the client, which sets forth the distribution of fees and responsibilities. Although many attorneys are sometimes reluctant to refer cases, our fee divisions are often higher than usual since we believe that developing a long term relationship benefits all involved, and we simply do not take a "single case" approach to our referral relationships. All of our fee agreements are in compliance with Article 8, Rule 1.5 of the Supreme Court of Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct, Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.5(f)(3)(h).
Many of the attorneys who refer cases to us desire being involved in the day-to-day handling of the case, which we encourage.
Others are desirous of only handling a few critical points in the process; and we are certainly open to that process also. If you have a particular arrangement in mind, contact us to discuss further details on counsel or on multiple representation.
